JP Domain Transfers are FREE!
To initiate a .JP domain transfer, you must have an account on our system.
Domain transfers are free and only require the 5 steps before. A successful transfer usually only takes a few hours; however, if the domain is locked, you may need to contact your
current registrar to unlock the domain. If you need assistance, please feel free to contact us.
1) Create an account on our system HERE or log-in to our system if you already have an account (Create New Account / Log-in Here)
2) After logging in, click on the "Domain Transfer" button:
3) Enter the domain you wish to transfer to our system and submit
4) The transfer request will be sent to your current registrar.
Please contact your current registrar to make sure they approve the transfer.
If they do not approve the transfer, the domain transfer will be automatically rejected.

5) Once your current registrar has approved the transfer the domain will be in your account and you will receive an email from us stating a successful transfer. Please note that the expiry date will remain the same during the transfer.
What do I do if my transfer was rejected?
If you receive an email from us stating the transfer was rejected; here are possible reasons why your current registrar has rejected the transfer:
- The current registrar claims you have unpaid invoices.
- The domain is locked at the current registrar and needs to be unlocked before initiating transfer.
- The domain name is about to expire and must be renewed.
- Other reason which only the current registrar knows.
