Drop Catching Services (IDN Domains)

Rules start November 1st, 2010 drop-catch
(Update Date: September 25th, 2010)

We will be happy to assist you in catching dropping domains and for the fairness of all of our customers; we will be setting the following procedures in place.

1) We will accept your drop-catching domain list on a first come first serve basis (except for Rapid Catch) from the 1st of each month after midnight Japan time. (NOTE: on the first of the month, we also require the "Last Updated" time which is displayed in the whois. Please send the "Last Updated" time along with the domain you wish to catch. The "Last Updated" time is only required in the first 4 hours of the 1st of the month.)

2) We will only accept domains which are in Suspended Mode. Please do not send domains in "To Be Suspended" mode; as these domains do not drop the following month. (Please note that some domains may be renewed by the original owner during Suspended Mode.)

3) For fairness of all customers, we will not release which domains have been reserved by another customer. (as informing which domains have already been reserved will give an unfair advantage to the customer who requested the domain afterwards.)

You will always get the following response when requesting drop catching domains. (We will try our best to capture the domains.)

4) We have three prices for drop-catching domains.
i) Slow Catch (once every 3-5 minutes)
ii) Fast Catch
iii) Rapid Catch (same speed as Fast Catch, but the domain will be listed three times)


i) Slow Catch: For domains which you feel may be less competitive, we will send one request every 5-10 minutes until 1:00AM. If the domain is available, it will be secured for you.
For this method, the price is regular price.
- If you do not choose fast or rapid catch by default slow catch will be used.
- This is first come first serve


ii) Fast Catch: If you would like us to try our best to capture the domains, the price is $35 per domain. We will send as many requests as possible to try to capture the dropping domain.
- Please request Fast Catch if you require this method
- This is first come first serve


iii) Rapid Catch: We will request your domain three times more often than Fast Catch.
(eg. your domain will be listed 3 times instead of once). The price is $75 per domain.
- This is first come first serve
- Limitations: One customer can only request a maximum of 3 Rapid catch domains.

iv) Customers requesting method ii) will have priority over i) AND iii) will have priority over i) and ii).

v) Please have some credit in your account prior to the date of the drop-catch.

5) This service is for JP-Domains.com customers only. If it is clearly noticable that domains using our drop-catch services are transferred out to other registrars for renewal only the Slow Catch will be available.
